In case you want to run the energizer only on the solar panel and battery, you need to charge the battery before putting it into operation. Plug in the mains adapter and leave the energizer in this state for approximately 10 hours, the battery will be recharged even when the device is switched off. If the ground is dry, several additional ground rods should be used.
