Product´s description Energizer fencee energy DUO RF EDX80 with remote controller
The high-performing Smart electric fence energizer is designed for long (up to 80 km) and vegetated fences where maximum efficiency and reliability must be ensured. With an output power of 8 J, it can provide sufficient voltage even in heavily grassed fences. An integrated microprocessor controls the entire operation and guarantees optimum energizer performance.
The universal Smart energizer for your electric fence
The energizer is designed for all types of animals, especially for cattle, horses, sheep, wild boars or as protection against forest animals and wolves. Thanks to the reduced voltage on the yellow terminall, the fence is also suitable for baby calves and foals. The combined power supply of the energizer via mains adapter (230 V) or from a standard battery (12 V), which is mainly used as a backup source in case of power failure.
BARGRAF, LEDs and LCD with control buttons
The large LCD display with control buttons clearly informs about all important values in the enclosure. TheLEDs and BARGRAF indicate the operation of the power supply, display the voltage on the fence and also indicate any malfunction on the fence. With the generator you can reduce the output energy to 50%, e .g. when you need to save the battery or when using it for other animals. Thanks to the free RF technology you do not need a SIM card. All functions of RF EDX energizers
Wireless communication at NO CHARGE
The basic radio frequency (RF) communication range between the energizer and the controller is up to 10 km in normal terrain and built-up areas. In difficult terrain, e.g. hilly terrain, the range is shorter, while in open countryside it can be longer. To increase the signal transmission range, an external antenna can be used to increase the communication range up to 30 km. Check out this article, where we have written some tips on how to install an external antenna correctly to ensure the most efficient RF signal transmission.

4 terminals for maximum flexibility
At the energizer output, there is a black ground terminal, a red terminal for connecting a full voltage fence, a yellow terminal for connecting a permanently reduced energy fence and a green terminal for measuring the grounding quality. How to use the yellow and green terminals
