BASIC solar kits include a solar panel for electric fencing with different power ratings, a mounting bracket for the panel, a solar panel bracket and a controller.
Some BASIC kits also include a less expensive transport box, which is suitable for transporting the energizer and the 12V battery and has a lower level of security against equipment theft.
Other BASIC kits include a security box for the energizer and 12 V battery, this includes a sturdy mounting mandrel that slides into the ground. The security box can be connected to the energizer and electrified, making any attempt at theft impossible. An insulated key is then used to open it and is included.
Ready-made kits do not include battery and energizer.
A 12-volt battery and suitable energizer with combined power supply must be purchased.
